000. [26 Oct 2009|02:40am]
Thaddeus Nathaniel Hamilton, III was born January 26, 1983 to start his life with his parents Thaddeus Hamilton, II and Jennifer Sanders. The heir to the family business that made them multi-millionaires, Thaddeus was thrown into boarding school after boarding school, having his entire life laid out for him. His father still upheld traditions of the previous generations, reassured that one day his oldest would follow in his footsteps. The firstborn of three children, responsibility was thrown upon his shoulders from the moment he entered the first grade. Thad was allowed to have what most would call a normal childhood for about six years after his first sister was born. In the seventh grade, his father made sure he'd be ready to take over when the time came.

Thad wasn't allowed to participate in a lot of things during his final years of junior high- let alone be a typical kid- and, because of that, he began to hate his father and the future he was about to be thrust into. He started to rebel, to go against everything his father had conditioned him to be, so that he could feel some sort of independence. When the time came for him to attend the same boarding school in England the men before him had, Thad made sure that things were finally going to be done his way. He figured that if his father really wanted him to follow in his footsteps, he was going to have to stop pushing so hard. If not, Thad's younger brother Andrew could do it and they both knew that wasn't happening.

For the next eight years, Thad attended school in London, heading home only for breaks and holidays. After he graduated from Oxford with his degree in Business and Management, he returned home to begin his formal training at Hamilton Advertising. It didn't take long for him to learn what he needed to do, having watched his father and grandfather work in the office all his life. It took a few years for him to take the position of Vice President of the company, wanting to explore as much as he possibly could before he felt tied down to his job. It was then that he began to date the woman who would steal his heart within the two years that they dated each other. Effie was like Thad's other half and, though they had different lifestyles, they still had a lot in common. He especially prided himself on knowing who was who when they were together.

Effie was a major part of Thad's life and he fell in love with her quicker than he'd ever fallen for anyone before. He was terrified at first but she seemed to return the feelings just as much as he did. Things had progressed to the point where he'd wanted to move in with her- even if she'd yet to meet his mother, who would've chewed her up and spit her out with no remorse. A classic example of miscommunication, Effie later thought that Thad had cheated on her when, in reality, he'd done nothing of the sort. Things between them took a turn for the worst and they two broke up, Thad burying himself in his work and Effie moving to South Carolina to be with her siblings. Thad tried to call her for two months so she'd speak to him but she wouldn't have it. It took him a while to work up the nerve to head to South Carolina and sort things out with her but he's finally managed to do it. Hopefully, she'll listen to him now that they'll be face-to-face again. As for his job, Thad's still trying to get things sorted so he can work from Crocker Park permanently.
